Summer Schools and Institutes
In addition to its academic programs, Cuyamaca College offers a range of summer schools and institutes that provide students with the opportunity to explore their academic interests in a specific area. This year’s offerings include:
- Summer Child Education Program: Expire on the first Tuesday of August, Cuyamaca College will run a Summer Child Education Program, where students can learn about child development, education, and related fields.
- World History and Culture Field School: Measuring the September to November quarter, this Field School will introduce students to the rich cultural heritage of the countries we visit. And in January of every year, we’ll be hosting the "Modern World at 100 5-Day Mini-course".
Internships and Careers Services
Cuyamaca College offers a range of internships and careers services to support students in their academic and career development. This year’s opportunities include:
- Internships: During the academic year, students can participate in immersive internships in various fields, such as sales, marketing, healthcare, and IT.
- Career Services: Throughout the academic semester, Career Services will provide students with assistance in finding employment, updating resumes, and leveraging their skills through social media and networking.
Lifestyle Health Programs
In addition to academic programs, Cuyamaca College offers a range of lifestyle health programs to support students’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This year’s offerings include:
- Nutrition and Wellness Program: Celebrating the fall season, this Program focuses on Nutrition and Wellness by offering a semester-long Course in Nutritional Science.
- Fitness and Recreation Class: Always a popular interest, the College will introduce a new Fitness and Recreation Class, in which students can explore various forms of exercise, such as Pilates, Boot Camp, and Yoga.
Awards and Recognition Programs
Throughout the year, several programs within the Cuyamaca College community are open to recognition and celebration. If you’ve made significant contributions to your field, or there are an academic success stories among students, at Cuyamaca College there will be relevant Awards, which honor hardworking students who offer their contributions and gifts.
Registration and Fees
To register for classes, students should visit the Cuyamaca College campus located at: 3750 Loma Ranch Rd, Escondido, CA 92027. Registration can be done by mail (in-person registration) or online through the website at www.cuyamaca.edu. Classes will be held online by email in case a student cannot meet in-person visits to public security.
